True reunification begins with respect
The fact is that Iraqis come from many different ethnic backgrounds with many different beliefs. However, what we have in common is a love for this land that we all share. We must address the fundamental issues of wealth and power-sharing which is the root of the violence, but to begin we must have respect and tolerance for each other. We must acknowledge that we are all Iraqis and all we want is a better opportunity for ourselves and our families. However without respect, no one will want to sit together at the reunification table.
