Watanee Objectives
The Council’s Goals and its Political Program

The council strives to achieve its goals through the priorities of national work in order to discharge the country from political security entanglement through:

1. Establishment of national front that includes all the national forces and figures who believe in the unity and independence of Iraq to achieve a state of political equilibrium in society.

2. The Commitment of the withdrawal tables of U.S.troops and its allies from Iraq.

3. Rebuilding the Iraqi military based on non-sectarian military principles, which believes in the defense of Iraq and its unity and its interests, and the return of the previous Iraqi army personnel and benefiting from their experiences and skills.

4. Bring about a national agreement which believes in the participation of all powerful figures which includes the Iraqi National Resistance, the political and social committees, and the personalities that believe in a united Iraq and its identity as an Arabic Muslim nation.

5. Releasing all captives and political prisoners and abolishing the political courts that don’t assist in achieving national unity, and the punishment of crimes against the Iraqi people by applying the Iraqi laws and the application of fair and equitable for the perpetrators of the crimes, without exception, hand, or to determine the duration of the time period.

6. Fixing of the current political operation in which there should be a balanced ascendance that enables the participation of all sorts of figures.

7. Adjusting the current constitution in accordance to the needs of Iraqis, the country’s unity, and keeping its opulence.

8. Eliminating of laws, regulations and decisions, which affected millions of Iraqis, particularly to disband the Iraqi army and security institutions, De-Ba’athification, and accountability and justice.

9. Fighting against corruption and looking for and finding people who cause corruption, and taking back the country’s money.

10. Put together the main fundamentals and mechanisms to implement the national security for Iraq based on the reconciliation process, since Iraq is part of the Arab nation.

11. Achieve a reconstruction plan to secure the basic services including electricity, water, health, education, housing, transportation, and communication.

12. Adopt programs and economical and social developing plans to fulfill the basic needs for the Iraqis including the rehabilitation, reconstruction, treating the description within the production sectors (agriculture, irrigation, industry), and the external trade in order to minimize the inflation enlargement and the unemployment levels.

13. Restore the migration displaced within and outside of Iraq and to ensure their safety, their right to participate in the construction of Iraq and the freedom of political beliefs.

14. Present the humanitarian and financial support to millions of Iraqis living in the neighboring countries to which they left Iraq because of the ethnic violence, And political exclusion and allocate within the Iraqi national budget the financial support and needs for these Iraqis until their return to Iraq after the ensuring their security and function.

15. Reject the guardianship on Iraq and any treaties touching the sovereignty and independency of Iraq, and refusal to interfere in its internal affairs.

16. Protecting the national rights of Iraq in its resources and lands, and seize the external regional looting for the Iraqi oil and its water resources.

17. Striving for seizing the compensation process for Iraq’s resources in order to secure the future of the Iraqi generations in these resources .

18. Facing the segregation desires which aim for the fragmentation of Iraq through the finding of federalism and provinces based on the ethnicity and racism.

19. Asking the United States of America and Britain commitment to the reconstruction of what was destroyed institutions, facilities, and services and compensate the families of the martyrs and the disabled the rights of people who have been deprived of them.

The Unification of National Iraqi Efforts Council believes in freedom as an essential value and in democracy as a regime to guide the nation since it represents the power resource. At the same time, it believes in freedom of thinking and speech and constructing of a civil Iraqi society depending on nationalism, where no discrimination is taking place.
